Books!

So this post is dedicated to books, I absolutely love them, I couldn't live without them. Whenever I get the chance I'm reading a book! I keep books in my school bag, cause, well you never know when you get the chance to read a book! I don't want to sound like a complete freak whose best friend is a book, but honestly, I couldn't live without my beloved kindle. I got it for Christmas 2011, and its amazing!
One of my favourite authors is Cathy Cassidy. Her books are really relatable and helpful for people in those situations. My favourite books by her are The Chocolate Box Girls. So far there are three books, Cherry Crush, Marshmallow Skye and Summer's Dream. I love all of them, but my favourite is Summers Dream. She shares a dream that I once had when I was little (given up on it now, I think I'd be like an elephant I'm not the best at ballet anymore and besides I'm more a gymnastics girl now.). I used to dream i about being a prima ballerina, people throwing flowers at my feet. Anyway, I can't wait for Coco Caramel to come out I don't know when it's coming out, but I'm really excited! The last book is Sweet Honey,. I am actually really excited about that one, she is in a way my favourite but least favourite character. She is not my absolute favourite though it would either be Summer or Cherry. I was on Cathy's Wikipedia, and apparently there is going to be another book, for world book day, called Bittersweet. It is from the point of view from Honey's ex, who is now Cherry's boyfriend. I am really excited to read that one, it will be interesting.
Okay enough with Cathy Cassidy, now onto Suzanne Collins. Basically everyone has heard of The Hunger Games, right? I am a huge fan of the books. I was talking to the librarian in my local library, and apparently she's read them. Some parts are a little gross, sad, weird but mostly amazing. I was hooked, couldn't stop reading them. I was overjoyed when I realised it was a trilogy. The first one is called The Hunger Games, the second is Catching Fire, and the last is Mockingjay.
These books are amazing, breathtaking.
So I think I've written enough, sorry for the long post.

December faves!

I know I'm a bit late on this but as I just started this blog, you can forgive me?:)
So lets start with the revlon lip butter in cupcake (would have a picture but I'm at my grandparents house!). It is a light but bright pink, it has amazing pigmentation, and is great for a natural look, or a more of a night-time look.
Next would have to be the Barry M lipgloss in Coral-licious. I actually got this as a present from my best friend, and its absolutely amazing. It adds a nice gloss to your lips, has an amazing colour and smells gorgeous! I don't know about you but I like to have a lipgloss that smells and tastes good:) I kid you not, it actually smells like haribo's! Also, it's not one of those overpowering lipglosses that looks like you have spilt a pot of glitter on your lips, it has a nice subtle sheen. Another thing, it stays on a reasonably long time.
Okay, next one, would have to be my ELF eyelid primer. I have heard the beauty gurus on YouTube talking about how it's second best, only to urban decay's primer potion. Personally I think it's a bit ridiculous paying £20 (or however much it is) so your eyeshadow won't crease, as I don't wear eyeshadow everyday. Anyway, back to the product, it keeps my eyeshadow on all day, doesn't crease and it blends out well. All in all, a very good product. And it's only £1.99 which is a good price for an amazing product like that.
Last makeup product would have to be my new mascara, my maybelline great lash. I think I might possibly be the last person in the world to try out a Maybelline mascara. I decided to go for this one, as it was £4.99 and the rest were £7.99 (yeah I know I'm cheap.). It gives absolutely amazing volume and doesn't feel heavy or anything. My lashes are long, but not very voluminous, so this gives them an amazing pop, and it gives me an awesome colour. So now I can flutter my voluminous lashes.
Now for skin care, I have recently tried a peel-off face mask. I have no idea what the brand is as its some kind of French company. There is some wash-off and some peel-off. I personally prefer the peel off ones. I tried them out at a friends sleepover, and it left my skin looking well, pretty much amazing. Sorry I have no idea what it is but I'll put a picture in!
Okay, and the last thing is a song, I knew you were trouble by Taylor Swift. I have been legit obsessed, and listening to it everyday. If you haven't listened to it, go and look it up on YouTube now!!
Sorry for not many products but a long post, if I included all of them, this would be a really long post!!
